Features: The Dodo

This is a video produced by The Dodo telling the story Kelly the Salt Flats Dog. The Dodo is an animal-focused media brand with over 75 million followers on social media. They are owned by Vox media and are an extremely well-known brand. They’ve won many awards, including the Shorty Award for Best in Pets and Animals, three Shorty Social Good Awards, and a Webby award for Best in Pets/Animals. They are also the most “loved” publisher in the world (in terms of “love” reactions on Facebook).

I created a video about Kelly in 2018 that caught the attention of The Dodo when it was shared by the rescue center caring for her (see Volunteer Project: Kelly the Salt Flats Dog). The Dodo then created their own video about Kelly and used some of my footage in their video.
